Ha ha..Really good.
Put that old box back together! Add a smaller version of the many Linux OS and reboot a modern miracle! Many older boxes will run very well for surfing the web or running a word processor or even as mp3 players with memories! A very good cheap PC for young children to learn on can be fashioned from open source software. Most OS, like Ubuntu, (Free on net) take much less computer power to operate, and make good spare or utility boxes! Set one up for your local church youth group, they will certainly appreciate it! Lots of under privileged children need something to do homework on, and it doesn't have to be the latest or greatest, it just has to work! Don't throw them away, computers are still a marvel of our times! The recession and even depression we are entering will prove their worth very soon! keep second use computers legal. Microsoft's warning is clear, they own Microsoft OS and "rent" its usage. To get around this and stay legal, install the free "Ubuntu" system from the web, give a copy of the disk to the new user - completely legal and stay clear of liability for yourself!
Older PCs are still useful. You can make use even out of old 486 and Pentium Boxes with a lightweight Linux or BSD install and use them for more than you would have ever imagined. Some of this is a waste of hardware.
I will post use of my old PC!
try to make a car out of it.lol
